Minutes of the April ExEC Meeting held at The Wollaton,  Nottingham 18th April 2010.

Attendees: Terry Emmony, Julie Grundy, Anne Nurse, Gordon Moore, Phil Jones

The meeting, held a few weeks later than originally intended due to someone else booking "The Boardroom" at this recently refurbished pub, followed a great Sunday Lunch with the thickest slices of roast beef I'd ever seen.

The unit value is sitting at 90.7, equal to the highest we've seen since August 2008 and 19% up on the value in April 2009.

Decisions
Having automatically acted on the stop loss price of a number of shares as decided at the last meeting, we decided to alter the stop loss prices, taking Tanfield and Premier Foods down to 25p each, with an email to everyone if the price reaches it.
Other stop losses are to be adjusted upwards to 85% of the current share price.

There were no suggestions for any shares to be sold.

BUY !!
With £7,300 available to invest we decided on a couple of shares that had been tipped, two in sectors that we don't have much invested in and that are low value at the moment (Banks and Construction) and two more shares that we hold to be topped up.

We are investing £1500 in each of:
CompassGroup
Chloride
Lloyds Banking Group
ROK

and £500 more in Marstons and £500 more in Centrica once the dividends are paid and the price drops.

Next Meeting
Sunday 13th June, venue to be confirmed, but could be Radcliffe on Trent.

General Housekeeping
Everyone said they would try to be more active and more responsive to requests.

We have said it before, but anyone who has a share suggestion at any time should email to all members with reasons to convince us to invest, and any replies should also be made to all members.

Terry will instigate the email if any stop losses are triggered, and if nobody replies, he will sell. When these emails come out we'd like replies to all members and only respond to the share in question, it is not an opportunity to discuss other suggestions.

Terry is looking into the possibility of allowing us an internet forum to discuss shares more frequently than just at meetings.
